Parent Advisory Council

Hello Parents,

As we get ready for an exciting new school year, I am thrilled to invite you to be part of the
Buffalo Hills Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for the 2026–2027 school year! PAC has a long history of making a meaningful difference for our students, teachers, and families. I want to begin by recognizing and thanking all of the parents who have generously
given their time, energy, and ideas to make Buffalo Hills such a special school community.
Because of their dedication, PAC has been able to support so many wonderful opportunities for
our students and staff.

As we look ahead to the coming school year, I am excited to continue that tradition while also
bringing new ideas, energy, and opportunities to our school. I would love for you to be part of
it!

We are looking for two parents from each classroom to serve as classroom representatives. PAC
meets five times throughout the school year, and our first meeting will be:

My name is Lynn Martin, and I am honored to serve as the Buffalo Hills PAC President for the
2026–2027 school year. I have been involved with PAC for the past five years, and I truly believe
this organization is something special. I am excited to continue building on the incredible
foundation that has been created and to see what we can accomplish together this year.

Over the years, PAC has supported so many activities and initiatives that have made a positive
impact on our students and staff, including:
 Marathon Run Club
 Classroom party supplies
 Supplementing field trip expenses
 Sunshine Committee events
 Christmas Movie Party at the World Theatre for the entire school
 Children’s Museum Night
 5th Grade World Theatre Party
 Teacher conference meals
 Teacher Appreciation Week meals and snacks
 $250 for each teacher to help enhance classroom activities
 Scholarships for two graduating seniors who attended Buffalo Hills and/or Glenwood
 End-of-the-Year Bash

These are just some of the ways PAC has supported our school community. I am incredibly
grateful to the parents who have helped make these opportunities possible, and I hope we can
continue that same spirit of generosity and involvement in the year ahead.

At the same time, I am excited to hear your ideas. What would you love to see happen at
Buffalo Hills? What would make this school year even more memorable for our students,
teachers, and families? PAC is a wonderful opportunity to share your voice, connect with other
parents, and help shape experiences for our school community.

If your child's classroom already has two parent volunteers, please don't feel like you have
missed your opportunity! You are always welcome to be part of PAC at large. We want anyone
who is interested to feel welcome and have the opportunity to contribute.

You don't have to have all the answers or a lot of free time. Sometimes the most valuable thing
you can bring is an idea, a helping hand, or simply a willingness to be involved.

Thank you for considering joining us and for supporting Buffalo Hills. I am genuinely excited
about the year ahead and all that we can accomplish together. I hope you will join us as we
continue the wonderful work PAC has done in the past while creating new memories and
opportunities for our students.
