Parent Advisory Council
Hello Parents,
I hope this message finds you well and that you are looking forward to the upcoming school year. As we prepare for the 2025-2026 school year, we are thrilled to invite you to join the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). We are seeking two parents from each classroom to join us in making a positive impact on our school community.
Our PAC meetings are held five times a school year, with our first one scheduled for Monday, August 18th at 5:30 PM at Buffalo Hills. Your involvement and input are invaluable, and we would love to have you as part of this important group.
I am delighted to introduce myself as the Buffalo Hills PAC president from 2024-2025, and I will be serving as the interim president as we develop our new PAC vision for 2025-2026. We are particularly excited about merging the wonderful traditions of Buffalo Hills and Glenwood into one cohesive community.
In the past, PAC has supported various activities, including:
- Marathon Run Club
- Classroom Party Supplies
- Supplementing field trip expenses
- Sunshine Committee Events
- Christmas Movie Party at the World Theater for the whole school
- Children’s Museum Night
- 5th Grade World Theater Party
- Teacher Conference Meals and Teacher Appreciation Week meals/snacks
- Providing $250 funding to each teacher to help enhance their classroom activities
- Scholarships to two graduating seniors who attended Buffalo Hills
- The END OF THE YEAR BASH!
If your child's classroom already has two parent representatives, please know that you are always welcome to be part of the PAC at large. We encourage all interested parents to join us and contribute to the betterment of our school.
