- 3:10- Dismissal for Kindergarten & Older Siblings
- 3:20-3:25- Dismissal for Grades 1st-5th

- 11:05-11:50- 1st Grade

- 12:55-1:40- 5th Grade
Morning Procedures- All students enter our school at either the east or west main entrance. All other doors are locked and are only to be opened by staff members. Please make sure your child arrives at school at or before 8:05 a.m. This helps your child, as well as the teacher, when trying to get the day started in an organized manner. Doors open and supervision begins at 7:30. Students who arrive before 8:05 will either go to breakfast or to the gym to sit with their classmates. When dropping off in the morning, please be sure to pull as far forward as possible so that the care behind you can also pull forward. This helps alleviate traffic congestion. We encourage a "hug and go" in the morning, meaning once you have pulled forward you can do a quick hug in the car before your student hops out on the curb side of the vehicle. Do not exit your vehicle if you are in the drop off line! If you need to park or stay for longer than a few seconds, please use our parking lot on the west side of the school. Be sure to escort your child across the crosswalk if you do use the parking lot to drop off.
Breakfast/Lunch- Bearcat Diner prepares delicious and healthy meals for students who wish to eat at school. Students are also permitted to bring lunch from home. We ask that students do not bring fastfood into our cafeteria. We will be offering a breakfast option for all students again this year. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:00. Parents are welcome to come eat lunch with their child once a week, but we ask that you wait until September to do so. This gives us time to establish lunch room routines. Please contact the office by 9:00am if you plan to have lunch with your child that day.
After School Procedures- To help us plan for dismissal, please fill out our "Getting Home Survey" so we know where your child will be going. Kindergarten students and older siblings will begin dismissing at 3:10 on the west side of our school. Grades 1st through 5th will begin dismissing at 3:20. Grades 1, 2, and older siblings will dismiss on the west side, while grades 3, 4, and 5 will dismiss on the east side. Students will be supervised there until 3:40. If students are not picked up by then, they will be asked to go to the office to wait for their ride. If your after school plans change, please notify the office so that we can direct your child to the correct location. Like drop off, please pull as far forward as possible before having your child get in the vehicle and do not get out of your car if you are in the pick up line! For safety reasons, your child should only enter the vehicle on the passenger side. Please have car seats adjusted accordingly. Thank you for keeping our pick up lane safe! If you have someone else picking up your child, these are great things to review with them.
*As we start the year it's helpful to have your passenger window down and to tell our staff the first and last name of the child you are picking up. As time goes on we'll start to recognize vehicles!
Safety and Security- All visitors must be admitted through either the east or west entrance by school staff. If we do not know a visitor, we will ask the visitor to identify themselves and their purpose for coming to school. All visitors must come to the office to sign in and receive a visitor badget. We will ask for your driver's license/ID, so please be sure to have that with you.
