I look forward to getting to know your child! Here is a little about me.

 

I started teaching at Buffalo Hills in 2013, right out of college. I received my undergraduate degree in early childhood education and elementary education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in December 2012. I received my master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Peru State College in May 2017. 

 

My husband and I have two wonderful children, a daughter and son.  We love living and raising our two children in Kearney.  Both of us were raised here and wanted to raise our children here.  In the summer we love to spend time outdoors, whether that is fishing, swimming, riding bikes, or sitting by the fire.  In the winter we love to watch movies while eating popcorn, baking, and playing games.

 

Teaching has always been my passion.  I have a love for learning and I hope that my students will also learn to love learning as much as I do.  I always make my classroom a safe, respectful, and responsible environment where students feel comfortable to come everyday.
