Welcome to Third Grade!

Hello everyone! Welcome to third grade at Buffalo Hills! I am excited for the opportunity to get to know your child as I look forward to a year full of fun, learning, and teamwork. 

 

I was born and raised in York, Nebraska. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney. I earned my degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and supplemental endorsement in Interscholastic Coaching (7-12) during the winter of 2013. While at UNK, I competed on the track and cross country teams. Go Lopers! I also earned my MAE in School Principalship (PK-8) in the spring of 2018. 

 

I have been teaching since the 2014-2015 school year. I am lucky to have taught them all at Buffalo Hills! Along with teaching at Buffalo Hills, I am also the head boys cross country coach and assistant boys track coach at Kearney High. 

 

I have a small and happy family. I have the most beautiful and supportive wife, Megan, and a little Yorkie, Mia. We love to spend time together as a family. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports, attending sporting events, spending time with friends and family, and traveling to new places. I am a huge Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Husker fan. My bucket list goal is to watch a game in every MLB stadium. So far I have been to 15 out of 30 stadiums! Also, I look forward to fall Saturdays in Memorial Stadium each season. My dad and I have not missed a home game in years!
